Born in New Delhi he picked up his first camera at age 16. It was a Nikon. Bought with the money he saved from his pocket money, Chander began photographing the beauty that surrounded him in his hometown.

He then started working in SV Photographics, a leading Photo lab in North India where he met all the legend photographers. It was the time he decided to jump into the world of professional photography, so he began to work & assist the top national & International photographers. During that period, Chander honed his technical skills in photography. A lesson that stayed resolute, with the result laying in the perfect expression or emotion Chander draws from a subject in his photographs.
